I’ve always been driven.
Looking back, I have my family to thank for a lot of that. They were the ones showing me motivational videos from a young age, encouraging me to think bigger and reminding me that if I wanted something, I had to work for it.
I was the one selling sweets at school, doing paper rounds at 15 and getting my first job at 16. Since then, I’ve never really stopped working.
I followed the traditional route and started my career through a marketing apprenticeship. Honestly, I loved it. The people were amazing, the work was new & exciting to me and I owe a lot of what I know today to the team that gave me my start.
But as much as I enjoyed it, I always knew I wanted to build something of my own.
At the same time, I found myself becoming interested in the brands, businesses and creators who seemed to stand out online. I wanted to understand what made people stop scrolling, what made a brand memorable and why some creators got all the attention while others went unnoticed.
That’s when I started creating content myself.
Not because I wanted to be an influencer, but because I genuinely enjoyed it. The more content I created, the more I realised I had a different perspective. I wasn’t just learning marketing from the business side, I was experiencing it from the creator side too.
At 20, I decided to back myself and launched EDGE Social. What started as a simple website and freelance business quickly grew into working with brands across social media, email marketing, paid ads, branding and web design.
Over the years, the work evolved, I evolved, and eventually EDGE Social no longer felt like the full picture.
I wanted something bigger. Something more creative. Something that brought together both sides of what I do – the marketer and the creator.
So, welcome to Club Sundae.
